The Criterion is a relaxed and friendly pub and music venue in Leicester city centre, stocking a fantastic selection of beers, ales and ciders from around the world.

Stonebaked pizzas are available Tuesday-Saturday and are freshly made to order using a traditional Italian recipe and local produce. A selection of cobs and other snacks are also available. Advance pizza orders and reservations are welcome, as waiting times vary during peak times.

All live music listings and festival and other event details will be updated frequently, along with any other news.

 

For the 3rd year in a row, The Criterion has been voted CAMRA Pub of the Year.

"The Criterion has a reputation for stocking real ales from micro-breweries and is part of LocAle.The pub has knowledgeable staff, regular quizzes, beer festivals and music sessions. Food is served too, really wonderful, authentic Italian pizzas heading the menu, but other items are also available.
